Diversity
Our Commitment to Change
It is our collective duty to end racial injustice by both challenging and dismantling the systems that perpetuate it. We pledge to make lasting change—starting from within. Here are the steps we’re continuing to take as a company:
We have implemented company-wide DEI training that addresses diversity, equity, inclusion, and allyship at both the corporate and individual level. We have hired external advisors, DEI & Culture Facilitators Tauri Law-Phillips & Rachel Madorsky of Coldtowne Theater’s Corporate Wellness Training Division, who lead monthly workshops aimed at further knowledge and growth. From seminars on LGBTQIIA+ and AAPI allyship to internal meetings centered around accountability, we’re dedicated to creating a corporate culture that is more inclusive and diverse.
We are continually working to broaden our ambassador program to include more Black women and people of color. As of today, 30% of our ambassador program identifies as BIPOC, and it's a number we are constantly focusing on growing.
We are focused on amplifying and supporting the voices of Black women and people of color through meaningful partnerships, storytelling, and curation. In addition to stories on our blog, Rip & Tan, and other branded initiatives, we’ve made it a priority to diversify our third-party assortment by consistently working with BIPOC creators and brands.
We are devoted to casting models that better represent the many diverse faces of Jenni Kayne.
Our Current Team
We know that real change begins here: with our team. We’re taking a serious look at the responsibility we have to foster diversity of all kinds through our hiring practices, and we’re holding ourselves accountable by sharing our current breakdown with you.
